On the Marmaris Cleopatra Island boat tour, you will discover the golden sand and history of the cedar island while cooling off in the magical deep blue sea of the Gulf of Gökova
It is estimated that the organic sand, which is not found outside the Red Sea and the cedar island, was formed thousands of years ago
Authorities declared the island as a protected area in an effort to keep the beach unspoiled
Please remember that, there are few restrictions for those visiting the beach
Firstly, visitors are not allowed to take sand from the island as a souvenir
Secondly, those who wish to enjoy sunbathing or swimming there, are not allowed to place their towel on the sand as it sticks on it
On our Sedir Island Boat Tour, after the hotel transfers, we take a half-hour bus ride from Marmaris to the port of Çamlı village
Afterwards, we visit İncekum, Cleopatra Beach (2 hours of free time), Fenerli Island and Lacivert Bay by boat
There are 40-minute swimming breaks in the bays where we will stop
